Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The railway station at Pitlochry was opened with the original Inverness to Perth line of the Highland Railway in 1863. It was expanded in 1890 to cope with the influx of Victorian tourists to the area. The wooden chalet waiting room on the northbound platform has features similar to other buildings designed by William Roberts, the company's architect, in the 1890s.
