Deutsch: 25.09.2018 01833 Stolpen: Markt Westseite mit dem Rathaus Markt 1 (GMP: 51.049085,14.082231) und der Löwen-Apotheke Markt 2 (GMP: 51.049200,14.082214). 1710 erwarb Apotheker Gottlob Benjamin Hoffmann dieses Grundstück. 1722 erteilte ihm August der Starke das Privileg. Ein erstes Rathaus gab es schon um 1600 auf der Südostecke des Marktes. Nach dem große Stadtbrand von 1723 wiederaufgebaut. Von 1995 bis 1996 erfolgte eine General-Renovierung. Das Stadtwappen über dem Rathausportal mit der Jahreszahl 1549 zeigt die Stolpener Mauer mit einem Tor, über dem sich das Bildnis des Bischof Johannes VII. befindet, gefaßt von zwei Türmen.
