At the municipal cemetery, staff are available with ladders so upper crypts can be reached. It is customary to make regular visits during the first few years after a death. The mausoleum niches are rented for four years with an optional three-year extension available, after which the deceased’s family must remove the body which is then cremated, ending the mourning process.
