Deutsch: 12.03.2017 01561 Zschorna (Thiendorf) Radeburger Straße 6 (GMP: 51.254019,12.740532): Wasserschloß. Das Rittergut Zschorna war 1676 in den Besitz der Familie von Beichlingen gelangt. Vorher gehörte es den Herren von Lüttichau. Das Wasserschloß ist 1537 für Christoph und Heinrich von Beschwitz erbaut worden. Der achteckige Turm mit Haube und Wetterfahne wurde wahrscheinlich erst im 17. Jahrhundert aufgesetzt. Zschorna kam 1852 an den Hauptmann Friedrich von Boxberg. Er ließ das Schloß 1853 nach Plänen des Oberlandbaumeisters Karl Moritz Hänel aus Dresden umgestalten. In der DDR-Zeit war hier die Landespionierleiterschule und dann Sonderschule des Zentralrats der FDJ. 1952 wurde das Ferienlager des VEB Stahl- und Walzwerk Riesa nach Zschorna verlegt. Daraus entstand 1956 das Pionierlager "Georgi Dimitroff". Seit 1990 steht das Schloß leer. Das Gelände des Pionierlagers wurde 1999 an Edwin und Peter Kramer verkauft, die auf dem Grundstück neben dem Schloß die Intereng Messtechnik GmbH betreiben. Die Unternehmer möchten im Park ein Wellness- und Therapiezentrum mit Heilölbad bauen und das Schloß wieder mit Leben erfüllen. Ansicht Südseite. [SAM8389.JPG]20170312310DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
