Title
2016 Roman Dolphin brooch.jpg
Description
English: Cast copper alloy dolphin brooch length 20mm, width 26mm, thickness 11mm, weight 6.39g. The brooch has semi-cylindrical wings which are decorated with a double diagonal line on the forward edge. A broken hook at the top of the head would have held the external cord of the spring, spring and pin are now missing. Only the top half of the bow remains, this has been badly effected by corrosion which has removed any detail, the lower half of the brooch has been truncated by corrosion resulting in the loss of the catch plate.

The brooch is in poor condition
