Deutsch: 01.08.2016 09117 Rabenstein / Oberrabenstein (Chemnitz), Oberfrohnaer Str. 149 (GMP: 50.833178,12.818224): Burg Oberrabenstein. Die Burg Rabenstein ist die kleinste mittelalterliche Burg Sachsens. Erstmals erwähnt wurde die Höhenburg im Jahre 1336 in einer Urkunde von Ludwig dem Bayern, in der er sie seinem Schwiegersohn, dem Markgrafen Friedrich von Meißen, als Reichslehen verspricht. Der Baubeginn der Burg lag vermutl. im 12. Jh.. Ab 1375 zeitweilig im Besitz des Benediktinerklosters Chemnitz. Mehrfache Besitzerwechsel und Umbauten. Letzter Eigentümer bis 1945 war Fabrikbesitzer Matthé Paul Herfurth. Heute ist die Burg Außenstelle des Schloßbergmuseums Chemnitz. [SAM7405.JPG]20160801840DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
