Deutsch: 06.06.2016 04779 Wermsdorf: Schloß Hubertusburg (GMP: 51.277443,12.939811), Hofseite. Kurfürst August von Sachsen gab 1721 den Bauauftrag. 1733 war die von J. Chr. Naumann entworfene Dreiflügelanlage fertig. Nach dem Tode seines Vaters ließ Kurfürst Friedrich August II. das Schloß von J. Ch. Knöffel bis 1753 zur barocken Vierflügelanlage ausbauen. Es war das größte Jagdschloß Europas. Die Glanzzeit endete 1756 mit d. Siebenjährigen Krieg. 1761 wurde das Schloß von Preußen geplündert. Mit dem Hubertusburger Frieden von 1763 verlor Sachsen seine Macht u. Hubertusburg seinen Glanz. Es wurde u.a. als Steingutmanufaktur, Militärmagazin, Gefängnis, Arbeitshaus und Krankenhaus genutzt. In der DDR sind aus der Heil- und Pflegeanstalt für Geisteskranke 1973 die "Kliniken Hubertusburg" hervorgegangen, die heute aber das Schloßgebäude selbst nicht mehr belegen. Eine Gesamtnutzung fehlt. Bis 2010 erfolgte eine Teilsanierung einschließlich der runden Seitenflügel. [SAM6361.JPG]20160606125DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
