Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Arches National Park, Utah features more than 2000 natural stone arches, the highest concentration of such arches in the world. It also has hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive fins and giant balanced rocks. The region near the town of Moab and on the east side of U.S. Highway 191 from Canyonlands National Park is located on the salt bed of an ancient sea. That sea bed was a major factor in the development of the majestic stone formations.
