Description

Sandia Mountain alumroot (Heuchera pulchella), Saxifrage family (Saxifragaceae). Planted in my front yard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

Endemic of Sandia and Manzano mountains, Bernalillo, Sandoval, and Torrance counties, New Mexico.

So far, I could not tell it from H. rubescens. Next season, I have to look at it under the microscope to see it in more details.
