Cérémonie du Maquis de Chérimont au monument du Maquis de Chérimont, à Offemont.

Les 20 maquisards fusillés là, le 26 septembre 1944 ont été capturés le 18 septembre 1944 à Magny-Danigon en Haute-Saône. C'est l'anéantissement du maquis du Chérimont puisque le 18 septembre, 40 de leurs camarades étaient fusillés contre le mur du cimetière de Magny-Danigon. Cette vingtaine d'hommes fut épargnée ce jour-là dans le but d'interrogatoires qui eurent lieu à la caserne Friedrich à Belfort. Les Allemands choisirent ce coin de campagne à l'extrémité du bois de la Miotte, pas très éloigné de la caserne, pour l'exécution.
