Summary

[edit]
Description
English: As seen in July 2015 from the bridge carrying the Trans-Canada Highway over the town's namesake river, this pleasant fountain has been beautifying the downtown district of Blind River, Ontario, Canada since 1995. The third-largest municipality in the Algoma District of Northern Ontario, Blind River boasts a stable population of about 3,500 and an economy historically centered around logging and, in the mid- to late 20th century, also uranium mining and processing. However, it's perhaps best known for being name-checked in the lyrics of Neil Young's 1976 song "Long May You Run".
