Description
English: Warning Great Lakes navigators away from the rocky shore of Georgian Bay is Killbear Point Light, as seen at far right from aboard the Island Queen V during a July 2015 afternoon cruise of the "Thirty Thousand Islands" of Ontario, Canada. The present structure, a simple metal cylinder painted with horizontal stripes of reflective red and white paint, was erected in 1994 to replace the original stone lighthouse from 90 years earlier. Though not technically part of the adjacent Killbear Provincial Park - the land is owned by the Canadian Coast Guard - it's accessible from the park via the Lighthouse Point Trail.
