Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A pleasant early morning gaze across Mill Pond in the center of Thornbury, Ontario, Canada in July 2015. This enlargement of the Beaver River was created in 1855, when a dam was built to harness hydropower for the flour, wool, and barley mills that served as the village's economic raison d'être in its early days.
