Deutsch: 13.05.2015 03229 Altdöbern: Barockschloß (GMP: 51.653714,14.035239) von NO. Das Schloß geht auf eine frühdeutsche Wasserburg zurück. 1712 erwarb Alexander Dietrich von Eickstedt den Besitz, ließ er den Vorgängerbau niederreißen und ab 1717 das heutige Schloss im barocken Stil errichten. Bis 1750 ließ der neue Besitzer, Carl Heinrich von Heineken, die Anlage prunkvoll ausbauen, den Garten erheblich vergrößern und mit Kanälen, Wasserbecken, Springbrunnen, Brücken, Pavillons und kostbaren Sandsteinplastiken ausstatten. In den Jahren 1880 - 83 erhielt die Gesamtanlage ihr endgültiges Gesicht. Nach dem Krieg ging das Anwesen in die Rechtsträgerschaft der Gemeinde Altdöbern über, die das
Schloß 1946 dem Caritas-Verband vermietete. Dieser nutzte es zunächst als Waisenhaus u. danach in der DDR bis 1974 als Kinder- und Altenheim. Das Schloß befindet sich seit 1996 im Eigentum der Brandenburgischen Schlösser GmbH. [DSCN5556.JPG]20150513105DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
