Description

Deutsch: 08.05.2015 15936 Dahme/Mark, Am Schloß 1: Schloß (GMP: 51.872240,13.431373). 1164 wird die Burg erstmals erwähnt. Gegründet wurde sie um 1150 vermutlich als Reichsburg. Nach der Übernahme des Schlosses als Residenz des Prinzen Friedrich - einem Sohn des Herzogs August, beginnt 1711 der Umbau der Burg zu einem barocken Schloß, der 1715 weitgehend abgeschlossen ist. 1719 erhält das Schloß einen Turm mit Uhr. 1772 wird das Schloß dem Hausmarschallamt des sächsischen Hofes unterstellt und dient wiederholt dem Kurfürst von Sachsen und auch dem sächsischen König Friedrich August I. als Übernachtungsort. 1815 wird Dahme im Ergebnis des Wiener Kongresses preußisch. 1825 werden Schloß und dazugehöriger Park dem Berliner Bankier Schultze für 8.660 Taler meistbietend überlassen. Ab 1953 wurden Planungen vorangetrieben, das Schloß zu einer Kulturstätte auszubauen, aber ab 1958 ruhen die Bauarbeiten; in der Folge verfiel der Bau zur Ruine.
