| Description |
Italiano: La Chiesa di San Domenico,con l’annesso convento, fu costruita nel 1233; è uno fra i primi conventi domenicani in Emilia. Nel corso dei secoli l’edificio subì varie ristrutturazioni, come si nota dalle sopraelevazioni del muro di facciata. Chiesa e convento furono ampliati nel 1420 e nel 1461, furono destinati ad ospedale militare nel 1702 e, per i danneggiamenti subiti da questo utilizzo, furono restaurati dall'Architetto Giuseppe Maria Ferraroni nel 1723 |
