Summary
[edit]Description2014 Columbia University south pylon and statue at Broadway and 116th Street gate.jpg |
English: The pylons which mark the 116th Street and Broadway gates of Columbia University were freestanding before 116th Street was closed between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue to become College Walk. Now, they are integrated into the gates, which were a gift from George Delacorte in 1970. The pylons have statues dedicated to the Sciences and the Arts. |
