English: U.S. Army Sgt. Lucas R. Fitchett, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, U.S. Army Garrison Bamberg, evaluates a simulated casualty March 26, 2014, at the Oberdachstetten Local Training Area. Fitchett was completing this warrior task as part of the Franconia Military Community's 2014 Best Warrior Competition. The winner of this weeklong challenge earns the honor of representing the Franconia Military Community at the Installation Management Command-Europe Best Warrior Competition and possibly advancing to the U.S. Army Europe Best Warrior Competition later this year. The Oberdachstetten LTA is just one of the many LTAs operated by the Training Support Activity Europe to provide both U.S. Army Europe and partner-nation troops with the ability to perform rigorous, realistic and relevant home-station training that enhances their combat readiness.
