Deutsch: 27.07.2014 01067 Dresden Neumarkt: Johanneum (GMP 51.051945,13.739550). 1586-1591 (1594) von Paul Buchner als Stallhof (Marstall, Stall- und Wagenremise) des Residenzschlosses erbaut. Diente auch als Rüstkammer. Die imposante Freitreppe schuf 1725 vermetl. M. v. Fürstenhoff. 1729 bis 1744 zur Gemäldegalerie umgebaut. Beim nochmaligen Umbau 1872 bis 1876 entsteht die Neorenaissance-Fassade. 1945 durch Bombardierung schwer beschädigt. Nach dem Wiederaufbau öffnete am 03.06.1956 im Stallhof das Verkehrsmuseum. Vor dem Johanneum steht der Friedens- oder Türkenbrunnen (GMP 51.051624,13.739711). Johann Friedrich Steger schuf 1616 den achteckigen Brunnentrog. Nach dem Ende des Dreißigjährigen Krieges schuf Christoph Abraham Walther 1649/50 eine Darstellung der Friedensgöttin Eirene. Nach der siegreichen Schlacht am Kahlenberg gegen die Türken, an der der sächsische Kurfürst Johann Georg III. teilgenommen hatte, ersetzte man 1683 die Statue der Eirene durch eine neue Statue der Kriegsgöttin Bellona von Conrad Max Süßner (irrtümlich als Victoria bezeichnet).
