English: 2013 Optare Solo SR M925SR integral low floor bus with a Cummins ISB 4.5 litre inline 4 diesel engine, of Stagecoach South Wales Reg.CN13CYX, Fleet No.47851 in Pride Cymru livery, at the Bristol Bus Show, Brislington, 28 July 2024.
She was delivered new to Stagecoach South Wales and is still in service as of 2024. The Solo SR was introduced in 2007 as a heavily revised version of the Solo, which remained in production alongside the SR until 2012 when only the SR was offered. The SR remains in production as of 2024. The Solo SR was built in either 7’8” or 8’2” widths and 23’4”, 25’7”, 29’2”and 31’5” lengths with one or two doors. They could be fitted with various Cummins B Srs. or Mercedes Benz engines. Hybrid and electric versions were also produced. |
