Description
English: Sailors from Naval Air Facility Misawa Security Department take part in the 2013 Navy Misawa Boat Regatta, Aug. 16, 2013. Naval Air Facility Misawa organizes this annual, lighthearted event with each team tasked with building a vessel from non-boating materials. The teams take turns racing around Misawa Air Base's Lake Ogawara, and then must plant their vessel's flag on the opposing team's beach, while taking water-balloon fire.
