Description
Frysk: De eardere sporthal fan de Rijksluchtvaartschool (RLS) (de foarrinner fan de KLM Flight Academy) yn Eelde. It gebou is setten yn 1953-1957 en waard ûntwurpen troch de arsjitekt P.J.J.M. Cuypers (1891-1982) yn gearwurking mei F.P. Glastra van Loon (1923). It kleurûntwurp kaam fan de keunstner Bart van der Leck (1876-1958). De sporthal is yn 2012 renovearre en ferboud ta bedriuwspân nei in ûntwurp fan it Grinzer arsjitektenkantoar Van Ringen Architecten. It kompleks fan de RLS is in provinsjaal monumint (PM2-0255).
Nederlands: De voormalige sporthal van de Rijksluchtvaartschool (RLS) (de voorloper van de KLM Flight Academy) in Eelde. Het pand werd gebouwd in 1953-1957 en ontworpen door P.J.J.M. Cuypers i.s.m. F.P. Glastra van Loon. Het kleurontwerp werd gemaakt door Bart van der Leck. In 2012 is de sporthal gerenoveerd en verbouwd tot bedrijfspand naar een ontwerp van het Groninger architectenbureau Van Ringen Architecten. Het complex van de voormalige RLS is een provinciaal monument (PM2-0255).
