Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Bluebanddorp is a neighborhood in Slotervaart; designed by dutch modernist architect Frans van Gool and built in 1959. The houses are also known as "Zaagtandwoningen", meaning "sawtoothhouses", because of the characteristic salient form of the frontside of the houses. The name "Bluebanddorp", originally a nickname, derived from the blue eaves of the houses. Theodorus Majofskistraat.
