Description
Deutsch: 05.05.2013 01127 Dresden-Trachenberge, Maxim-Gorki-Straße 4B: Marienhof. Johann-Friedriche-Jencke Schule für Hörgeschädigte. Haus H1, Heim für Hörgeschädigte

(GMP: 51.088692,13.735576). Auf einer Parzelle des einstigen Max'schen Weinberges schuf der Besitzer Weithaas in den 1850er Jahren für seine Frau den "Marienhof' woraus 1873 die städtische "Korrektionsanstalt für schwererziehbare Kinder" hervorging. Die Erweiterungsbauten von 1886 und 1899 stehen bis heute. Die 1912 erfolgte Vereinigung von Korrektionsanstalt, Waisenhaus und Findelhaus hieß ab 1928 "Stadtkinderheim" und in der DDR-Zeit Maxim-Gorki-Heim. Seit 1994 trägt die Schule den Namen Johann Friedrich Jencke

(* 27. Juni 1812 in Diehsa, Oberlausitz; + 4. August 1893 in Dresden). Er war Gründer und erster Direktor der Taubstummenschule in Dresden sowie königlich-sächsischer Hofrat. [SAM6067.JPG]20130505020DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
