Deutsch: 30.09.2012 01219 Dresden-Strehlen: "Biotop" auf der Fläche des 2011 abgerissenen großen Plattenbau-Wohngebietes Rudolf-Bergander-Ring mit ehemals fast 1000 intakten

Wohnungen. Nur der Briefkasten hat überlebt. Für den Abriß erhielt die international agierende Gagfah von der Stadt über 2 Millionen Euro Fördermittel. Grundlage ist der Beschluß des Dresdner Stadtrates von 2002, bis zum Jahre 2010 siebentausend Wohnungen abzureißen. Die Bundesregierung beschloß 2001 das mit 2,5 Milliarden Euro dotierte Programm "Stadtumbau Ost", das den Abriß von 350 000 Wohnungen vorsah. Am 17. Juni 2009 hat der Bundestag - neben den 350 000 Wohnungen, deren Abriß bis 2009 geplant war - nochmals die Vernichtung weiterer 200 000 bis 250 000 Wohnungen beschlossen. Für diese Abrisse waren weitere 1,5 Milliarden Euro eingeplant, also zusammen 4 Milliarden
