Description
Deutsch: 10.06.2012 02694 Malschwitz, Dorfplatz 2: Herrenhaus Obermalschwitz (GMP: 51.235578,14.517075). Gleich zwei Rittergüter teilten sich die Ländereien um Malschwitz. Die Rittergüter Ober- und Niedermalschwitz blieben bis 1945 in rechtlicher Hinsicht getrennt, obwohl sie seit 1690 in einer Hand vereint waren. Hans Adolph von Metzradt verkaufte beide Güter 1773 an den Grafen Peter von Riaucour. Die Grafenfamilie wohnte in Gaußig, kam aber gelegentlich auch nach Malschwitz und Guttau. Südwestlich der Kirche befindet sich der Oberhof, der über den Resten einer mittelalterlichen Wasserburg entstanden ist. Der ehemalige Wassergraben ist zugeschüttet und dient als Vorgarten. Der malerische Adelssitz enthält Reste aus vielen Jahrhunderten. Die Rittergüter waren verpachtet, wobei das Herrenhaus des Oberhofs als Forsthaus diente. Der gesamte Besitz der Grafenfamilie wurde 1945 enteignet. Das Herrenhaus wird heute als Wohnhaus genutzt. [DSCNn4116.TIF]20120610350DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
