Description
Deutsch: 23.03.2012 04808 Röcknitz (Thallwitz), An der Wasserburg 3 (GMP: 51.450828,12.780060): Das Herrenhaus Röcknitz ist aus einer mittelalterlichen Wasserburg entstanden. Am hofseitigen Portal ist die Jahreszahl 1696 vermerkt. Im Schlußstein sind die Wappen der Familien von Plötz und von Birkholz zu sehen. Das kaum noch lesbare Monogramm I. P. C. A. V. B. verweist auf Joachim von Plötz und seine Frau Catharina Agnes von Birkholz. Seit 2004 wird das Gebäude als Vereinshaus und "Geoportal" genutzt. Eingangshalle.
