Deutsch: 23.03.2012 04808 Mühlbach (Wurzen) Am Mühlteich 30: Blick vom Mühlteich zum Herrenhaus Mühlbach (GMP: 51.338860,12.794635). Das Rittergut Mühlbach war bis ins 19. Jahrhundert in adliger Hand. Auf die Familie von Mühlbach folgten verschiedene Geschlechter, darunter die von Canitz, Holleufer und Döring. 1681 erwarb Rittmeister Haubold von der Schulenburg das Rittergut. Das Herrenhaus wurde vermutlich für ihn im späten 17. oder frühe 18. Jahrhundert errichtet. 1785 ging der Besitz an Johann Gottfried Lorenz. Sein Sohn Friedrich Freiherr von Lorenz gründete 1811 die erste Zuckerrübenfabrik in Sachsen. Das 1811/12 erbaute Fabrikgebäude steht neben dem
Rittergutshof. 1895 erwarb Ferdinand Jung das Rittergut, das dann 1945 unter die Enteignung fiel. Sein Nachfahre Dieter Jung konnte 1992 das Herrenhaus von der Gemeinde Burkartshain zurückkaufen.
