Description
Deutsch: 20.03.2012 04668 Döben (Grimma), Schloßstraße (GMP: 51.241070,12.761252): Burg / Schloß Döben. Sicht von der Mulde. Das Schloß ist aus einer mittelalterlichen Burg hervorgegangen, die den exponierten Felsen im Muldenknie östlich von Grimma besetzte. Nach dem II. Weltkrieg verfiel das Anwesen. 1971/72 wurde das überwiegend aus dem 16. Jahrhundert stammende Schloß gesprengt. Übrig blieb u.a. in Bildmitte der 1740 unter Sigismund August von Arnim am Hang zur Mulde erbaute barocke Pavillon (GMP: 51.241472,12.761312). In den 1990er Jahren wurde er restauriert.
