Description
English: No cars - residents free! A not too new road sign in Deidesheim, Palatinate, Germany
Deutsch: Das Verkehrszeichen gibt Bild 13 der StVO-Novellen von 1953 und 1956 wieder: Verkehrsverbot für Kraftwagen. Erst mit der Neufassung der StVO von 1970 wurde 1971 letztendlich ein modernisiertes, wirklich neues Sinnbild eingeführt. Bereits in den späten 1950er Jahren wurden immer mehr Schilder nicht mehr in Emaille produziert oder wie hier aus Preßblech hergestellt, sondern im Siebdruckverfahren oder mithilfe der Scotchlite-Reflexfolie aufgebracht. Das Zusatzzeichen 803 Anlieger frei, stammt aus der 1971 gültig gewordenen StVO. Wie die Typographie verrät, wird hier noch die alte DIN 1451 verwendet, die bis 1981 für Verkehrszeichen eingesetzt worden ist. Die Schilderkombination wurde 2012 in Deidesheim, Pfalz gefunden.
