Lichenostigma cosmopolites Hafellner & Calatayud Image location: Governor Dodge State Park, Wisconsin, USA So it’s worth documenting why I feel certain this is the same species, even though it’s growing on Punctelia graminicola instead: ascomata: ~50um tall by 75um wide hymenium: I+ orange-brown, K/I+ faintly bluish asci: ~25×15um, thick K/I- tip (no ring structure seen) spores: 8 per ascus, hyaline, smooth, halonate, ~9-10×3-3.5um Used references: ID provided by Jason Hollinger
