July 2, 2012: Construction is now in progress on the park's new Science and Resource Management Facility, near Market Plaza and just south and east of Park Headquarters. Visitors will notice the construction as they pass by the site, but at this time, impacts to park traffic flow will be minimal.. NPS photo by Kristen M. Caldon. Carpenter at work.. .. The new facility will be approximately 8,500 square feet, consist of two floors, be universally accessible, and will include employee offices, general work space, meeting space, restrooms, a small public-use library, and storage... ..
