Deutsch: 18.04.2011 04779 Calbitz (Wermsdorf): Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.327867,13.007978). Barockbau 1724-1727 nach Plänen des sächsischen Landbaumeisters David Schatz. Er fügte dem romanischen Westturm der Calbitzer Dorfkirche einen gleich breiten Kirchensaal mit geschweifter Ostpartie an. Der Geheime Rat und Generalleutnant Caspar Heinrich von Benckendorf, Besitzer des Ritterguts Kötitz, hatte Schatz dazu den Auftrag erteilt. In dem Chorraum steht der mächtige, mit Säulen und gesprengtem Giebel hervorgehobene Kanzelaltar. Über dem Kanzelkorb ist eine Gloriole ausgebildet. Das Gemälde auf dem abgerückten Altartisch, 1890 von dem Dresdner Maler Karl Christian Andreae (1823-1904), zeigt Christus mit Martha und Maria. Um den Altar gruppieren sich die beiden imposanten Grabdenkmäler für Christian Heinrich von Benckendorf und seine Gemahlin Eva von Schleinitz. [DSCNn2375.TIF]20110418810DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
