English: BURNHAM HOARD 2010 T509: item B.31: sickle blade

Cast copper alloy sickle blade fragment.The blade is curved. It is broken at both ends. There is a raised triangular rib running along the length, which is more pronounced at one end. The wings are triangular in cross section.

Length: 62.15mm. Width: 32.89mm, tapering to 24.60mm. Thickness: 5.53mm increasing to 11.05mm. Weight: 40.98 grams.
