English: BURNHAM HOARD 2010 T509: item B.2: Sword - Ewart Park

Fragment of a cast copper alloy sword. Hilt. T-shaped finial bar with squared off corners. Concave faces, not flanged. Broken across rivet hole. Cross section at break is triangular to either side of rivet hole.

Length: 33.01mm. Weight: 24.64 grams. 41.11mm wide at terminal, 6.89mm thick. 23.09mm wide at break, 4.54mm thick.
