English: Burnham Hoard 2010 T509: Item B.28: Socketed spear

Socketed spear. One third of oval socket and part of one wing survives. Wing is triangular in plan and flat in cross section. Wing extends out from the central rib just after the break. The break is across the socket and wing at the other end. Length: 31.36mm Width (with wing): 19.50mm Width (without wing): 9.37mm Thickness: 11.45mm Weight: 6.64 grams
