Description |
English: BURNHAM HOARD 2010 T509: item B.1: Socketed Gouge Cast copper alloy socketed gouge. It is cylindrical with circular socket opening. The cross section changes from circular at the socket end to 'U' shaped at the blade end, with the changes corresponding to an elongated 'V' shaped depression on the upper surface which starts 22mm from the socket opening and extending to the blade end. Length: 91.81mm. Mouth: 19.58mm by 17.06mm. Socket opening: 12.80mm by 12.52mm. Blade width: 15.09. Weight: 53.73 grams. |
