Description
Deutsch: 17.04.2010 09306 Beerwalde (Erlau): Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.042464,12.979396). Die Dorfkirche Beerwalde ist in Neudörfchen zu finden. Nachdem das Vorgänger-Kirchlein so baufällig geworden war, dass auch Reparaturen nicht mehr halfen, beschloss der Kirchenpatron Moritz Friedrich von Milkau, sächsischer Reitergeneral und Herr auf Burg Kriebstein, ein neues Gotteshaus zu errichten. Er bezahlte tausend Gulden, etwa die Hälfte der Baukosten, und stiftete das Bauholz sowie die Dach- und Mauerziegel. Im April 1738 lag die Baugenehmigung vor, am Reformationstag des folgenden Jahres konnte die Kirche geweiht werden. Pfarrer Samuel Ephraim Thessel (1694-1748) hatte die Bauaufsicht inne. Aus seinen akkurat geführten Aufzeichnungen wissen wir, dass die Baupläne von Landbaumeister David Schatz stammen (1668-1750). Sicht von Südwesten. [DSCN41354-42355.TIF]20100417500MDR.JPG(c)Blobelt
