Deutsch: 16.04.2010 04749 Jahna (Ostrau Sachs.): Dorfkirche. Pfarrkirche St. Gotthard (GMP: 51.224136,13.181635). Der Kirchturm ist wohl noch romanischen Ursprungs. Zu Beginn des
16. Jahrhunderts wurde unter Verwendung älterer Teile ein spätgotischer Neubau errichtet. Eine Inschrift am Chor nennt den Pfarrer Johannes Arnolt als Initiator und die Jahreszahl 1512. Anstelle des geplanten Gewölbes wurde 1676 eine flache Decke eingezogen, die der Dresdner Maler Johann Simon Lucas drei Jahre später bemalte. In den größeren Feldern sieht man Apostel und Propheten, die kleineren Felder sind mit Akanthusranken geschmückt, in die runde Bildfelder eingebettet sind. Diese enthalten symbolische Darstellungen, die sich auf Bibeltexte beziehen. Der große Raum ist über und über mit Einbauten gefüllt. Die Einbauten sind zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten entstanden. Gleich neben dem Altar ist die Patronatsloge des Ritterguts Goldhausen zu finden. Der Taufstein wurde 1794 geschaffen und die hölzerne Kanzel in Neorenaissanceformen 1886 aufgestellt.
