Description
English: 02.06.2009 01237 Dresden-Dobritz, Breitscheidstraße 78-80 (Jessener Straße): Der große Gewerbebau (GMP: 51.009961,13.812720) war ehemals der VEB Dresdner Spitze. Heute Gewerbepark Dresdner Spitze mit der "Dresdner Gardinen- und Spitzenmanufaktur M. & S. Schröder GmbH & Co. KG" (Dregus). 1884 wurde das Unternehmen von den Dresdner Kaufleuten Karl Siegel und Georg Marwitz gegründet. Die Firma arbeitete damals mit den modernsten englischen Maschinen. Nach dem II. Weltkrieg wurde das Werk komplett bis zum letzten Lichtschalter demontiert, einzig die Gebäude sind stehen geblieben. Der Betrieb wurde während der gesamten DDR-Zeit wieder aufgebaut und weitergeführt. Ende August 2009 feierten alle Firmenangehörigen das 125-jährige Bestehen der "Gardine", wie das Unternehmen im Dresdner Volksmund heißt. Hier das Bienstock-Portal.
