Description
Deutsch: 03.05.2009 04889 Kobershain (Belgern-Schildau), Zum Rittergut (GMP: 51.451380,12.871246). Schloß Kobershain. Barockbau 18. Jahrhundert, im 19. Jahrhundert. erneuert. Die Besitzer des Ritterguts wechselten oft. Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts gelangte Kobershain an den Hauptmann Johann Zschusche. Es ist zu vermuten, dass er das barocke Schloß erbauen ließ. Vor 1920 erwarb der Industrielle Dr.-Ing. h. c. Curt Herrmann (1888-1959) das 285 Hektar große Rittergut. Er war Generaldirektor der Deutschen Flugzeug-Werke und Direktor des Verlags Bernhard Meyer in Leipzig und pflegte enge Kontakte zu den Nationalsozialisten. 1938 wurde er zum Preußischen Staatsrat ernannt. Im April 1945 flüchtete Herrmann ins Fürstentum Lichtenstein. Sein Vermögen in der sowjetischen Besatzungszone wurde zwischen 1945 und 1948 enteignet. In der DDR wurde im Schloß ein Kinderheim eingerichtet. 1970 erfolgten Umbauten. Nach der Wende kauften Jan Drahota und Astrid Taylor Schloß und Gutshof. Leerstehend und Verfall.
