Deutsch: 25.04.2009 04838 Hohenprießnitz (Zschepplin): Eilenburger Landstraße 7-9 (GMP: 51.531315,12.598402). Das Anwesen ist im 16. Jahrhundert aus einem Vorwerk des Ritterguts Gruna hervorgegangen. Martin Luther weilte mehrmals für einige Tage hier. Das
Schloß wurde 1699 - 1702 für Anton Albrecht Freiherr von Imhof durch Baumeister Hermann Korb errichtet. 1724 erwarb der Leipziger Peter Hohmann, der 1717 geadelt wurde damit und die Familien derer von Hohenthal begründete, das Rittergut. Der letzte Schloßumbau erfolgte 1894. Es war bis 1945 im Besitz der Grafen von Hohenthal. In der DDR wurde das Schloß als landwirtschaftliche Fachschule, Institut für Heimerzieherausbildung und Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik genutzt. Danach war hier eine AußensteIle der Sächsischen Akademie für Lehrerfortbildung, die 1998 geschlossen wurde. Blick vom Tor über den Ehrenhof zum Schloß vor dessen Sanierung.
