Description
Deutsch: 25.04.2009 04687 Seelingstädt (Trebsen/Mulde), Grimmaer Straße 8: Schloß Seelingstädt (GMP: 51.271461,12.711749). Der Adelssitz ist aus einer Wasserburg hervorgegangen. Dr. David Döring, der als Hof- und Kammerrat 1630 in den Adelsstand erhoben wurde, erwarb im gleichen Jahr u.a. das Rittergut Seelingstädt. Die Bauten, die heute die Schloßanlage bilden, sind größtenteils unter den Dörings entstanden. 1897/98 wurde das Schloß im Stil der deutschen Neorenaissance überformt. 1945 wurden die letzten Besitzer des Ritterguts enteignet und das Anwesen kam vier Jahre später an den Bischöflichen Stuhl des Bistums Meißen. Es wird heute von der Caritas als Altenpflegeheim Claudine Thevenet genutzt. Sitznischenportal auf der Hofseite des Süflügels. Im Bogenscheitel ist über dem Wappen der 1635 geadelten Familie von Oppel das Monogramm DSVDGVO mit der Jahreszahl 1678 zu lesen.
