Deutsch: 08.02.2009 09619 Sayda: Schloßweg 4 und 5. Gelände Alte Burg bzw. ehem. Vorwerk. Zum Wirtschaftshof gehörte ein kleines Herrenhaus, das auch als Schloß bezeichnet wurde. Es brannte 1877 ab, weshalb auf dem früheren Burghof ein neues Herrenhaus (GMP: 50.712425,13.417380) errichtet wurde. Die Fassade des Wohnhauses wird durch einzelne Elemente der englischen Tudorgotik belebt. Über dem Portal befindet sich ein Wappenstein von 1774, der noch vom alten Herrenhaus stammt. Wappen und Inschrift erinnern an Rittmeister J. E. Vitzthum von Eckstädt und an seine Gattin M. E. Vitzthum von Eckstädt, geborene Hahn. Der Rittmeister führte ein Kürassierregiment, das um 1770 in Sayda stationiert war. Das Herrenhaus dient heute als Mehrfamilienhaus (rechts im Bild). [DSCN35482.TIF]20090208030DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
