Description
English: Post Medieval Cufflink or Button

Date: 17th Century

Description: Silver button. It is circular in plan with down turned edges. The upper surface is decorated with two joined hands with a crown above and two hearts below. There is a small pellet above each heart. There is a complete, but slightly damaged loop on the reverse.

Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
