Deutsch: 24.10.2008 01445 Radebeul: Blick entlang des Weges "Neufriedstein" zur Villa Mathildenhaus Neufriedstein 1 (GMP: 51.114233,13.625658) und weiter zum Jacobsturm auf dem Berg. Die Gebäude Neufriedstein 1, 2 und 2A bilden eine zusammengehörige Baugruppe. Das Haus Neufriedstein 1 von 1904 ist das jüngste der Dreiergruppe. Zum Weingut Neufriedstein gehörte auch das "Berghaus Neufriedstein". Das ehemals sehr große Weinberggrundstück wurde im 18. Jahrhundert von der Dresdner Kaufmannsfamilie Ehrlich zusammengeführt. Um 1770 ließ Ehrlich im Schildberg ein barockes Herrenhaus erbauen, zu welchem 1771/72 das auf dem Berg gelegene Lusthaus hinzukam. Auf der Suche nach Silber unternahm Ehrlich dem Weinberg erfolglose Bergbauversuche, die zu seinem Ruin führten. 1827 gelangte der Weinberg an den Kaufmann Georg Schwarze aus St. Petersburg, der zuvor das Weingut Friedstein erworben hatte. Schwarze taufte das Anwesen am Schildberg in "Neufriedstein" um, während der eigentliche Friedstein zum "Altfriedstein" wurde. Neufriedstein wurde 1888 an einen kirchlichen Verein verkauft, der im Herrenhaus sogenanntes Pfarrtöchterheim betrieb. 1904 stellte man den Weinbau auf dem Neufriedstein ein.
