Friedrich Roos (gest. 1757) zurück. 1742 bis 1745 ließ er hier ein barockes Herrenhaus errichten. Die Familie Roos verkaufte das Anwesen 1763 dem sächsischen Premierminister Heinrich Grafen von Brühl. Er taufte das Weingut "Mon repos" (mein Ruhesitz), aus dem schließlich "Friedstein" wurde. Im 19. Jahrhundert gehörte das Grundstück dem Kaufmann Georg Schwarze aus St. Petersburg. 1836 gründete er zusammen mit Franz Karl Sickmann und Ludwig Pilgrim einen "Actienverein zur Fabrikation moussierender Weine". Unter dem Namen "Bussard" stellte sie bis 1978 Sekt her. Nach dem Niedergang des Weinbaus in der Lößnitz legte die Dresdner Architekturfirma Schilling & Graebner auf dem Weinberg zur Jahrhundertwende eine Villenkolonie an. Der Westflügel des Herrenhauses und Teile des Mitteltrakts waren einer Straße im Weg und wurden deshalb 1903 abgebrochen. 1927 ging der Altfriedstein in kommunalen Besitz über. Das Herrenhaus wurde bis 1987 als Rentnerheim genutzt. 1997 saniert und zum Wohnhaus ausbaut. Sicht von Südosten. [DSCN34970.TIF]20081024215DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
