Deutsch: 18.10.2008 01814 Bad Schandau, Markt: Hotels der Elbpromende, links die "Elbresidenz" (ehemals "Dampfschiff"), rechts Haus "Gotthelf Böhme" (GMP: 50.017068,14.153628).
Das aufgesetzte Glasdachgeschoß faßt die beiden Häuser der Elbresidenz (GMP: 50.917136,14.153287) zusammen. Von der Elbe aus gesehen stehen die Häuser an der Elbpromenade zwischen Königsteiner Straße und der Dampfschiffstraße (im Oktober 2008), v.l.n.r.: Elbterassen (nicht im Bild), Hotel Elbresidenz, Haus Gotthelf Böhme und (nicht im Bild) Restaurant Vital. Von 2002 bis 2007 erfolgten umfassende Sanierungsarbeiten an den Gründerzeit-Hotels der Elbfront - das bekannteste im 19. Jahrhundert war das "Dampfschiff". Die Gebäude wurden von Grund auf entkernt und die Fassaden restauriert. Das Ensemble wurde 2007 unter dem Namen Elbresidenz Bad Schandau wiedereröffnet. [DSCN34748.TIF]20081018385DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
