Deutsch: 09.08.2008 01067 Dresden-Innere Altstadt, Wilsdruffer Straße / Altmarkt: Dresdner Kulturpalast (GMP: 51.051064,13.737684), erbaut von 1962-1969 nach einem Vorentwurf von Leopold Wiel und der Planung des Kollektivs Wolfgang Hänsch und Herbert Löschau. Auf der Seite zur Schloßstraße befindet sich das Wandbild "Der Weg der Roten Fahne", 1969 von Gerhard Bondzin. Das Wandbild ist 11 x 33m (and. Quelle: 10,5 x 30m) groß und zeigt u.a. auch Walter Ulbricht. Zusammengesetzt ist es aus 560 mit Glassplittern besetzten Betonplatten. Die Entwürfe dazu hatte Bondzin, der damals Rektor der Dresdner Kunsthochschule war, eigentlich für das hiesige Robotronwerk angefertigt. Walter Ulbricht sah diese und war begeistert. Prof. Bondzin erhielt den Auftrag für den Kulturpalast und arbeitete zweieinhalb Jahre mit seinen Studenten an dem Mosaik. Nach der Wende hat man
es schamhaft hinter einem nur schwach durchsichtigen Schutzvorhang verdeckt. Seit 2001 ist es als Kulturdenkmal ausgewiesen. Der Schamvorhang am Kulti ist weg. [DSCN33675.TIF]20080809140DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
