Deutsch: Das Haus Bristolstraße 1 wurde während des 2. Weltkrieges beschädigt. Im Zuge des Wiederaufbaus im Jahre 1951 durch Max Taut wurde das Gebäude um eine Etage aufgestockt. Im Originalzustand glich das Haus dem Haus Bristolstraße 7. Im Zuge der Sanierung der Siedlung ab 1991 wurden daher nicht die ursprünglichen Ritzen in die Betonstützen der Balkone des Hauses gemeißelt.
English: The building in Bristolstraße 1 was damaged during the Second World War. In 1951 it was elevated by one level during reconstruction by Max Taut. Originally it was identical the building Bristolstraße 7. Thus the carves found originally in the columns were not reapplied during renovations in 1991.
